I live with several, high-strung performance dogs. Try as I might, the household can get a little nutty. I have lots of little tricks to help my group – just get along! The stone of Yellow Jasper is a friend that I turn to when things get tense. Yellow Jasper helps protect against spiteful “neighbors” or colleagues and when placed near your workspace, it prevents others from gossiping about you when you’re not there. Don’t know about you, but some of my canine friends can be “spiteful neighbor’s” from time to time. Additionally for our canine friends, Yellow Jasper reduces sibling rivalry in a multi-dog household. Great for my house of athletic dogs that just want to spend time with mom and go, go, go!!! No, it’s my turn!!!
To use it for our dogs, infuse their water with the stone’s energy by placing a larger stone in their water bowl, hang a little pouch containing the stone on their crate or attach a pouch to their collar with the stone inside. As with all stones, use it for a short period of time and cleanse it often. Yellow Jasper likes to be cleansed by leaving it in the sunlight in a tray of sand or earth.
Jasper is one of the oldest known gemstones and is mentioned in the Bible several times. Along with channeling positive energy, it offers spiritual protection and protection while you travel. Holding or using this stone calls in the angel of Sofiel – the angel of Nature. Calling this energy to us arouses within us a deep love for nature – especially on our mind during the spring season when everything seems to be coming to life!
This pale, yellow stone can be your friend as an icon of earth awareness and the interconnectedness of all life. Perfect for the celebrations of Earth Day, today, April 22, 2011.
